Tender to procure the services to develop a circular strategy

We would like to announce a tender to procure the services to develop a circular strategy for the Promprylad.Renovatsion Innovation Center (based on the material flow analysis and needs assessment) within the project titled  “Implementation of circular economy approaches to sustain thriving, liveable and resilient Ivano-Frankivsk” (SG53730) within the framework of the Environmental Policy and Advocacy Initiative for Ukraine (EPAIU), implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation with the financial support of Sweden.

TENDER PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 15.08.2020

Within the framework of above mentioned  institutional grant, the team of Teple Misto Charitable Organization will build its capacity in promoting sustainable urban practices, experimenting with the circular economy approaches within our programs and projects, and the Promprylad.Renovation Innovation Center in particular. To do so, we are looking for professionals who work with the  circular economy approaches and have experience in the revitalization of large commercial facilities to conduct the following:

  1. comprehensive study of the current state and mapping of material flows (including energy, water, waste) during the reconstruction and future full-scale operations of the Promprylad.Renovation Innovation Center in the urban ecosystem of Ivano-Frankivsk;

  2. workshop on circular economy and systems thinking in urban ecosystems for the Teple Misto team and other key partners in the implementation of the Promprylad.Renovation project to gain a basic understanding of the approaches and benefits of the circular economy;

  3. workshop on the formation of a circular vision of tthe Promprylad.Renovation Innovation Center on the basis of previously conducted research and training;

  4. as well as to finalize the Promprylad.Renovation Innovation Center Circular Vision.

The services will last 4 months (or 80 man-days) during the first year of the grant, which began on July 1, 2020.

Tenderers: domestic and foreign bidders of all forms of ownership and organizational and legal forms, who have at least three years of experience in consulting work related to the circular economy in terms of reconstruction and operation of large multifunctional premises.

The main criteria for evaluating tenders: (a) work experience in the area (experience in consulting work related to the circular economy), full years and (b) price (costs) of services.

An individual / legal entity has the right not later than 5 (five) working days before the deadline for submission of tender proposals to request clarification on the tender procedure. The Teple Misto Charitable Foundation will provide the requested clarification within 1 (one) working day.

In the "Subject" section of the e-mail, please indicate "SG53730 Services to develop a circular strategy for the Promprylad.Renovation Innovation Center (based on the material flow analysis and needs assessment)".

The tender proposal must be submitted on the official form of the tenderer with the seal and signature of the authorized person (if applicable). Please note, that the name and details of the legal entity whom will be awarded the contract with Teple Misto Charity Organization must match the name and details of the bidder whose bid wins.

Tenders that do not meet the requirements of the procurement procedure will not be considered.

The deadline for submission of tender proposals is August 15, 2020.

The announcement of tender results will be made on August 16, 2020.

All communication and provision of information is carried out electronically until August 10, 2020. Requests for confidential information will not be satisfied.

Pay attention:

- the results of the tender will be notified via email.

- the reasons for not awarding the contract will not be explained.
