The winners of the second wave of the City Grants Program

In the second contest of City Grants Program 27 projects were competing for funding in 7 areas. But only 12 projects formed a shortlist. The total budget of this competition was UAH 50 000.

Congratulations for 5 winning-teams with the following projects:

Design Village, 2016 – the conference, which aims to organize a friendly environment for exploring, dialogue and networking among creative individuals of various fields of design;

- City Scouting – recognition of selected city fragments (e.g. signboards) with artistic tools - work, implementation, situation and interventions in public space. Artists will use interesting fragments for creating artworks in the authors’ painterly techniques;

- Construction of sports and recreation area in Pasichna district (in FC Uragan sports complex) to make the sport more accessible and interesting for city residents, especially for the junior category of users;

- Street Charger Uppy – installation of  mobile devices charger with sun panel on Nezalezhnosti Street;

- Festival of Cultures, 2016 – removing of cultural barriers between nations and familiarization of city residents with traditions of other countries through presentations, games, dances, tasting of national dishes, shows of national costumes.

An expert commission determine winners of the second contest of City Grants Program which includes:

Maria Artysh – public figure, an expert on management, networking and PR, project coordinator of Business Development Group, manager of the Owners for Owners workshop;

- Taras Zen – broadcaster, social activist, member of Plast, TRK Vezha CEO;

- Irina Solovey – public activist, president of public organization Garage Gang, co-founder of Big Idea Social Innovation Platform;

- Andrew Filippskyy – chief editor of Reporter newspaper;

- Stanislav Kozlov – head of expert and analytical department of the Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council;

- Evgen Vershynin – member of the group created for development IT community in Ivano-Frankivsk, coach, head of web and mobile projects of Softjourn.


Under City Grants Program Teple Misto Platform on a competitive basis provides organizational assistance and financial support (grants) for social projects and initiatives aimed at sustainable development of Ivano-Frankivsk and improves the quality of life in the city. The program is created to activate and strengthen initiatives, public organizations and community.
